Online Workshop This workshop describes how to start a nonprofit organization and how to use the one-page Mission Model Canvas to plan and execute your nonprofit's strategy. We will cover topics including types and starting a Nonprofit Organization, Nonprofit Fiscal Agency, and how to use the Mission Model Canvas to plan and execute your nonprofit's strategy. This workshop is for anyone who is interested in starting a nonprofit. No prior experience is necessary. Presenter Gene Calvano, a mentor from SCORE Granite Region, has been through the process of starting a computer database software development company, which grew to employ 10 people and had over 400 installations worldwide. He was also a system engineer and sales representative for IBM Corporation. He brings to the table experience in sales, business development, and marketing and has helped many people start and grow their business. He has assisted many people in starting and growing their businesses.
